NN: Liquor store; "I’m going to go up to the candy store for some wine." Undated for campus usage; said to be before 1989 term, from Geneva, New York. Said to be nearly Obs in F92. However, better than half of students surveyed recognized term in F94. candy store: A place to get narcotics. KTousey This word was found to be obs. F06. No student was able to identify this word.J.Boselli, 2012: Only 13% of those surveyed were familiar with the term (likely from its context) and could define it. Others understood the term in  the non-ironic, euphemistic context. Still obsolete.

AG: surprisingly still in use on campus with 7.14% of surveyed people having heard of it but it appears as though it is on it’s way out as only 34% of these individuals could define the term.
