Periodt

Periodt is an interjection used to signal the end of a statement or emphasize a point. According to Dictionary.com it is often seen in the phrase “and that’s on periodt.” This term originates out of AAVE and is a slight modification to the previously used “period.” Of those surveyed, 92.8% of respondents ranked “periodt” as a 3 on a 3 point scale of familiarity, 1 being low and 3 being high.
