v. to steal or cheat.  Highly derogatory.  Its likely origin is a popular anti-Semitism which identifies Jews with hoarding money, stealing, and cheating.  Most commonly, it is a transitive verb, though the construction "to be Jewed out of something" i.e. to have something stolen from oneself, has also been observed.Of unknown origin, but not extant outside of Geneseo.As of 2012, 100% of students surveyed know this word. 0% believe it is of local origins.(Endress, G-M, 2012)As of 2019, 0% of students surveyed know this word. 0% believe it is of local origins.(Dilcher, G-M, 2019)
