Sexual, romantic, emotional/ spiritual attraction one can feel for others, generally labeled based on the gender relationship between the person and the people they are attracted to.Example: "A person’s sexual orientation is an important aspect of their identity and should be respected and valued by others." According to the surveys given out, 100% of participants were able to define this word and understood what it meant. Students who have intersecting identities and clubs such as the Pride Alliance shows that this word is still current in today’s time. (Stewart, S-Z, 2023)
