College Green (NN): Big, grassy, rectangular area enclosed by short cement walls, flowers and trees that is located in the middle of campus by Erwin Hall, Bailey Hall, the [[ISC]]. Area where students hang out and hold protests, and where the occasional College event is held. Definition of approximately 92% of those surveyed. According to my group’s survey thus far, 100% of surveyors are familiar with this word, and 100% believe this term is specific to Geneseo college life. 100% of surveyors use the original definition to define this term.(Birkby, A-F, 2012)

Based on survey results, 80% of participants could recognize and define this word. Only 20% of participants were unfamiliar with "College Green." It is widely recognized by the Geneseo community (Jordyn Costello, A-F, 2019).
