(noun) In traditional use, means to isolate from a majority of society in order to prevent the spreading of disease.Used as "the quarantine" by students to talk about the 2020 Corona Virus, which forced all states to go into a nationwide quarantine. Almost all jobs were shut down and people were forced to stay in their homes. Students were forced to move on to all online learning for a period of months to prevent spreading the Corona Virus. "How is the Quarantine Life treating you?"
