NN. sexual position otherwise referred to as "doggy-style." As in "She started out on top, and then we went canine for awhile." Only 5% of particants surveyed identified the term by this meaning, and when asked, had said it was a term associated with the Geneseo Men’s Soccer or Lacrosse teams.

J. Bloom, A-F, 2019: This term used in this definition was completely obsolete. Some participants only understood the literal definition of "canine", as in dog.
