Shank

Verb/NounA crude weapon made from materials and objects that would otherwise be unsuspecting and harmless in their proper use. Usually thin and sharp, a shank is used to stab someone/something. "To shank (something)" is often used, using the word as a verb in this case. (Baranello, S-Z 2020)
