An adjective or adverb denoting subtlety, discretion. As an adverb, it can be placed before or after the verb as in "I lowkey love this song." Of the students surveyed, 95% knew this word, and 3% believed it to be of local origin. In a survey, 100% of the respondents know what the term “lowkey” means. 94% of the respondents claimed this word did not originate from Geneseo.
