Chip Matthews (NN): Manager of the College Union who sends out emails and writes to the What’s Up Digest about goings on in the CU. Known for making life difficult for organizations who wish to use the CU for meetings, storage, etc. Definition of approximately 72% of those surveyed. (F06) (new word) Unknown by approximately 28% of those surveyed. (F06) Simmington It seemed like the people who did not know who Mr. Matthews was were those who were not in organizations that used the Union.

Based on survey results, 40% of participants could define Chip Matthews as the manager of the College Union, but 60% did not recognize the name or who he was (J Costello, A-F, 2019).

Based on survey results, 80% of participants could define this term which shows that this has come back into use (S French, A-F, 2022)
