LGBTQ+n. This is used to represent individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer. The “+” acknowledges the rest of the alliance that isn’t directly represented in the acronym. Use in a sentence, “I support the LGBTQ+ community”.Source: Dictionary of Geneseo English, Fall 2020, McIntoshAs of 2020, 100% of students surveyed know the word.
